CASE STUDY 1:

Switching to solar energy can have significant financial benefits for you. Let’s break down the numbers….

In a recent case, a household was using an average of 15 kWh of energy per day, amounting to 5,475 kWh per year. With the electricity cost set at 40 cents per kWh, their annual expense reached €2,190.

To address this, we recommended installing a system consisting of 16 solar panels, each with a capacity of 400 watts, resulting in a total capacity of 6.4 kWp. This setup allowed them to generate their own clean energy.

In addition, we provided them with a hybrid inverter and a 5 kW battery system, enabling them to store excess energy for later use and optimize their solar power utilization.

Based on their new solar panel system, they estimated generating around 5,120 kWh of electricity per year. Considering the average value of 35 cents per kWh for both usage and export, their annual savings were estimated at €1,689.

The cost of the entire system, excluding VAT and government grants, was €9,600. This meant that the payback period, where their savings covered the initial investment, was slightly over 5 years.

In conclusion, this recent example demonstrates the financial benefits of going solar. By harnessing the sun’s energy, they not only saved money but also contributed to a greener environment.

Remember, as the saying goes, “A euro saved is the same as a euro earned.” With solar panels, you can take advantage of the sun’s energy, which keeps shining, and your panels will keep providing you with clean, cost-effective power.
